The Oshodi Transport Interchange stands as the largest bus terminal in Nigeria and West Africa, marking a pioneering development in the country. Located in Oshodi, Lagos State, this world-class facility is a multi-level, three-story complex comprising three distinct terminals connected by a skywalk bridge. Positioned between the key roads of the Oshodi Apapa Expressway and Agege Motor Road, it serves as a significant infrastructural enhancement in Lagos aimed at boosting business and improving transportation.
More than just a bus terminal, the Oshodi Transport Interchange has quickly become one of Lagos’s newest tourist attractions. As the entire facility becomes fully operational, it is expected to evolve into a major tourist hub, offering recreational and entertainment amenities such as a museum, art gallery, fast food outlets, lounges, a mall, hotel, and various business hubs, solidifying its role as an economic center.
The primary objective of the Oshodi Transport Interchange is to establish a central business district for road transportation in Lagos, positioning the city as a leader in transportation development across Africa. The facility is designed with high security in mind, featuring 24-hour security personnel and strategically placed CCTV cameras.
The Oshodi Bus Terminal was constructed by Planet Projects Limited, a Nigerian company headquartered in Lagos.
